Abstract: Dr. Hoel arrived in Zhuhai shortly after the launch of generative AI, at a time when these technologies began reshaping how academics write, teach, and conduct research. He made AI the centre of his inquiry, exploring its implications for teaching and learning. In this Spark Salon session, he will share a personal account of how AI has transformed his own practice and invite participants to exchange experiences on effective tools and methods for different academic contexts. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops for hands-on exploration.
