Speaker Bio:
Tony Brown is a distinguished academic and internationally acclaimed artist, holding the positions of Distinguished Professor at Beijing Normal University and Tenured Professor at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He also serves as a member of the Academic Committee and leads international cooperation initiatives at School of Future Design. With an extensive and prominent academic career spanning decades, Professor Brown has lectured and taught at numerous top-tier universities, art colleges, and institutions across Canada, the United States, Asia, and Europe, mentoring a wide network of students worldwide.
As one of the pioneering artists working with cutting-edge technology in installation art since the early 1980s, his work has gained global recognition and has been featured in major international exhibitions and art fairs, including Documenta in Kassel, The Armory Show in New York, FIAC in Paris, and the Shanghai Biennial. His significant works are held in the public collections of renowned museums and private collectors across Canada, the United States, Asia, and Europe.
